Installing Avid Media Composer on Leopard ओस

UPDATE: After this article was written, Media Composer 2.8.3 will no longer allow you to install the software on Leopard. This means you'll need to download Media Composer 2.8.1 or 2.8.0 in order for the installer to work.

You have heard the rumors and read the blogs that Avid Media Composer will not work on the awesome Mac Leopard OS.

Well, we here at GeniusDV have found otherwise. There are a few quirks to installing Media Composer and a quick trick that allows the task bar to remain open. First and foremost you need to make sure that you download the latest version of Leopard OS but do not allow the latest version of Quicktime to be installed. There is no uninstall for Quicktime on Mac and you will be in big trouble with the Avid software if you do not have the correct version.

Once the software is up and running you will find that your task bar is on top is hidden until you hover over it. This is very aggravating because it will switch between the OS task bar and the Avid task bar. To fix this you need to navigate to Toolset in the task bar and select Fullscreen Playback.

You only need to do this once and every time you launch Media Composer after that you will not have the issue again. So far I have not found once glitch in the software running on Leopard, but stay tuned for any updated information just in case.

Google Adsense has come out with a new concept as expandable ads, a new type of ad that can appear on your pages. Expandable ads are rich media ads that can expand beyond the original size of the ad unit, following a user-initiated action. This creates more real estate for the ad, allowing for more interaction from interested users. For instance, expandable ads may stream a movie trailer, show video game clips, or display various views of an item

India’s leading technology magazine DIGIT, has had in its November 2007 issue, a serious look at what one Indian security analyst claims is a flaw in Googleâ€™s AdSense. A Indian named, Manish Arora has found a way to cheat adsense and make thousands of US$ quickly. His claim has been verified by DIGITians and when they reported it to Google, they doesn’t seem to take it seriously. This has endangered the interests of adwords users. Is google working on the fix or is it something they doesn’t care about or is it the way they make money themself? Only time will tell this. Now the question is what he exactly did and the even more interesting how he did it?

What he did?

He had gone through number of articles/reports on Pay Per Click mechanism including the report of Dr. Tuzhilin (Professor of Information Systems at the Stern School of Business at New York University), who evaluated Googleâ€™s invalid click detection efforts.

After going through all those articles and analyzing Googleâ€™s code he found a way to simulate human behavior in click generation and page impressions in proper (acceptable) ratio from different geographic location (IP address) and was able to credit thousands of dollars in his AdSense account (By not a single human being generated click)

By observing the working of their system he was able to point out how ads are served from their servers and how can he stimulate the process from his own server by a script made by him
